4.3 PostHog Analytics

Data Sharing: Analytics events are sent to our PostHog Cloud EU project. PostHog states that its EU cloud is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany.
How We Configure PostHog: We collect anonymous page views, page exits, and interaction events. We disable session recording, surveys, and heatmaps on this website, and do not create identified person profiles unless a visitor is separately identified in a future authenticated flow.
IP Addresses: PostHog Cloud EU disables IP data capture by default for new projects. We keep IP capture disabled for website analytics.

Analytics Providers: PostHog, Inc. (PostHog Cloud EU) for website analytics purposes, with your consent
Cloud Infrastructure: Google Cloud Platform processes and stores Service data in our configured EU and USA regions.
AI Service Providers: When a customer enables AI features, data may be processed by Google Cloud Vertex AI, including Anthropic models provided through Vertex AI, or OpenRouter. The processing location depends on the enabled model and routing configuration. Transfers outside the EU/EEA use the safeguards described in Section 9.
We do not sell, rent, or otherwise commercialize your personal data to third parties.
8. Where Your Data Is Processed
Your personal data is primarily processed and stored within the European Union using Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. We operate services in the EU and USA.
PostHog Analytics Data: When you consent to analytics, events are sent to our PostHog Cloud EU project hosted in Frankfurt, Germany. Any processing or onward transfer by PostHog is governed by our data processing agreement and applicable transfer safeguards.
9. AI Features and International Data Transfers
Important Notice About AI Features:
- AI features in our Service are disabled by default
- If you choose to enable AI features, your data may be transferred to third-party AI service providers located outside the European Union and European Economic Area
- Before enabling AI features, you will receive explicit warnings and must provide informed consent
- You can disable AI features at any time to stop such data transfers
- When AI features are enabled, appropriate safeguards are implemented in accordance with GDPR requirements
10. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain your personal data for the following periods:
Contact Information: Until you request deletion or unsubscribe from communications
Service Data: For the duration of our business relationship and as required for legal compliance
Communications: Typically for 3 years unless longer retention is required for legal or business purposes
Cookie and Browser Storage Data: Analytics storage expires after no more than 12 months; you can remove it through cookie settings or your browser settings
PostHog Analytics Data: Analytics event retention is controlled in our PostHog project settings and limited to the period needed for website analysis
