How is this different from an accounting API?+
Control returns finance-ready outputs, not just raw ledger rows. AI clients can query consolidated and entity-level statements, cash flow, accounts, dimensions, grouped transactions, and the entries behind each result through one connection.
What can I ask an AI client to do?+
Ask for a financial statement, compare entities, analyze cash flow, investigate an account movement, rank counterparties, or find transactions by date, account, entity, dimension, description, counterparty, or value.
Which AI clients can connect?+
Any client that supports remote MCP connections can connect. This includes Claude and Codex.
How is access controlled?+
You control access in two places: assign each user read or write access in Control, then configure which specific tools are available in the MCP client they use. This gives each user only the capabilities they need.
